crayon pop

Wednesday already?

It's a gloomy, almost-rainy day, and I have a gloomy mood to go with. So I want to listen to gloomy emo chill. But there is much work to be done, so I'm putting Crayon Pop on repeat instead so I can try to absorb their silly happiness and energy.

The kids have half-days for the rest of the week.

Have some Crayon Pop, in case you are having a day like me:

1. My school, Cascade K-8 alternative school, is selling Chinook books as a fundraiser; I know lots of folks like to get these every year, and if you are one of them and haven't gotten yours yet, let me know. We have both the physical books and the app.

2. I am designing the school directory, which is a pretty simple thing mostly used to arrange playdates between the 200+ kids in the school. Every family gets a copy. Our student body is trans-district, with the majority in Shoreline and Seattle (but also Edmonds, Terrace, Brier, Lake Forest Park...)

Ads are hella cheap ($30 for full 8x5 page, $20 for 4x5, $10 for 2x5/business card), in black and white, and useful for kid/parent friendly services. If you saw last year's, rest assured that I will NOT be sticking all the ads in the center to be ignored, but will be integrating them properly into the directory. I can help put together an ad if need be; I would need your file this weekend (oh hai forgot to post this last week wheee.)
